About this quiz
Dinosaurs lived through three periods, the Triassic, the Jurassic and the Cretaceous. Many famous names never met: Stegosaurus was long extinct before Tyrannosaurus appeared.
- The Late Cretaceous, 101 to 66 million years ago, was the last chapter for dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops.
- Diplodocus, Stegosaurus and Allosaurus all lived in the Late Jurassic.
- Plateosaurus and Coelophysis are among the early dinosaurs of the Late Triassic.
