About this quiz
A word in which no letter repeats is an isogram. Short names have the best chance, but some long ones manage it too, and a name can fail on a single letter.
- Wyoming, Vermont and Florida qualify; Ohio does not, because of its two Os.
- New York is the only two word state on the list.

Note on the data. The verdicts are computed from the names, ignoring capitals, spaces and accents. The 50 states are those on the Census Bureau's state code list, leaving out the District of Columbia and the territories. The map is drawn from the Census Bureau's public domain cartographic boundary files, with Alaska and Hawaii moved and rescaled into the lower left corner.
