No state lines, and one wrong click ends it. Each state appears on the map as you find it. Three stricter modes make it harder still.

- A name appears above the map. Click that place.
- Small countries have a generous target: click on or right beside them.
- Pinch or use the zoom buttons to get closer.
- Pause whenever you like (Esc). The board hides while the clock is stopped.
Click each US state as it is named. The state lines are hidden.
Drawing the map
About this quiz
The map of the United States with every state line removed. In the standard round found states are drawn in. Super keeps the map blank all the way through, and Ultimate also takes away Prev and Next.
- Standard: found states stay on the map and you may skip. No skipping: the same without Prev and Next. Super: nothing is drawn, so every click is from memory. Ultimate: Super with no skipping.
- Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah meet at a single point, the Four Corners.
- Alaska is the largest state and Rhode Island is the smallest.
- Alaska and Hawaii are drawn in the lower left corner, out of position and not to scale.

Note on the data. The 50 states are those on the Census Bureau's state code list, leaving out the District of Columbia and the territories. The map is drawn from the Census Bureau's public domain cartographic boundary files, with Alaska and Hawaii moved and rescaled into the lower left corner.
