About this quiz
The names come from Ribbia's checked list of 45 US presidents. 23 of them can be used: those whose first name and surname are both unique on the list.
- Pick a half in either column first. Tap it again to put it down.
- A wrong join is shown and counted, but costs nothing except time.
- Each round takes 10 of the 23 usable names.
- Two people who share a first name or a surname are both left out, so every half has exactly one partner.

Note on the data. Names are read from the list behind Ribbia's US presidents quiz and split into first names and surname. Numbers, names and dates of service follow the National Archives list, including Trump's second term from January 20, 2025. Years are shown by calendar year, so 1841 and 1881 hold two presidents each. Surnames are enough; a surname shared by two presidents fills both, because the name alone is a correct answer for each, while typing a first name or initials fills just one.
