About this quiz
33 countries with at least three big urban areas besides the capital. The clues are the three largest of them, biggest first, in the spelling of the list they come from.
- The capital is never one of the three, so Lagos, Sydney and Toronto can appear but Abuja, Canberra and Ottawa cannot.
- The first round of each day is the same for everyone; after that every round is a fresh draw. You can also play all of them in one run.
- A miss shows the right country before the next three cities come up.

Note on the data. Urban areas and their populations are those of the CIA World Factbook's field Major urban areas, population, in its last (2025) edition, read on 3 October 2026 from the archived copy of the agency's own page and parsed by script. The figures are for urban agglomerations, which are larger than the city proper, and most are for 2023. Countries whose entry mixes dates, names two capitals or names a seat of government are left out. A country is asked when at least three areas other than its capital are listed; the clues are the three with the most people.
