About this quiz
Ribbia counts 197 countries: the 193 members of the United Nations plus Vatican City, Palestine, Kosovo and Taiwan. Continents follow the United Nations M49 regions, with the Americas split into North and South.
- Eight countries are accepted under two continents: Russia, Turkey, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Egypt.
- Central America and the Caribbean count as North America.
- A miss shows the right continent before the next country appears, and missed countries can be practised afterwards.
- The first round of each day is the same thirty countries for everyone.

Note on the data. Countries and continents are Ribbia's shared list, checked on 3 October 2026 against the United Nations member and observer lists and the M49 regions. A country that spans two continents is filed under one (Russia, Turkey and Cyprus under Europe; Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia under Asia; Egypt under Africa) and the other continent is accepted as well: M49 itself places Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in Western Asia and Russia in Eastern Europe.
