About this quiz

Sources

  1. [1]US Census Bureau. County Population Totals and Components of Change: 2020 to 2024 (Vintage 2024).

Note on the data. Counties and populations are from the Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 county estimates for 1 July 2024, read on 3 October 2026. A county means a county or its equivalent as the Bureau counts them: Louisiana's parishes, Alaska's boroughs and census areas, Connecticut's planning regions and the independent cities.
