About this quiz
Ribbia counts 197 countries: the 193 members of the United Nations plus Vatican City, Palestine, Kosovo and Taiwan. Four countries are dealt to each of six letters: B, C, G, M, S, T.
- No name here could take two of the letters: a name is used only when one letter alone makes a country.
- Only one word names are used.
- A country dropped in the wrong box is marked and moved to the right one.

Note on the data. Country names are Ribbia's shared list, checked on 3 October 2026 against the United Nations member and observer lists. The names for each letter are dealt by a fixed seed, and a test checks that putting any other box letter in front of a clipped name never makes another country on the list.
