The first view runs 139 degrees of longitude wide and 80 degrees of latitude tall. Each pick halves it both ways, so the seventh view is about 210 kilometres across.
- The city is Cairo, in Egypt. A perfect game finishes 36 km from it, measured from the middle of the last quarter.
- Quarters are lettered A, B, C, D: A and B on top, C and D below. Tap one, or press its letter or the numbers 1 to 4.
- By the standard rules a wrong pick is marked, the right quarter is shown and the game goes on. Minefield ends on the first miss.
- The maps show coastlines, lakes, rivers, borders and built up areas, and never a name. Distances are great circle distances.
