About this quiz
A rhyme is a matter of sound, not spelling. Two words rhyme here when they sound the same from the last stressed vowel to the end, however differently they are written.
- The traps on this board are Walk, Talk, Chalk, Book, Sock and Steak.
- A word that ends in the same letters is not always a rhyme, and a rhyme does not always end in the same letters.
- The board is shuffled for each game, and everyone gets the same first board each day.
- Words that can be said two ways, and words that British and American speakers say differently, were left out.
