About this quiz

A prime number has exactly two factors, 1 and itself. To test a number under 200 you only need to try dividing by 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 and 13.

  • The first is 101 and the last is 199.
  • There are 25 primes below 100 but only 21 in the next hundred.
  • No prime between 100 and 200 ends in 5, and 187 is not prime: it is 11 times 17.
