- You start on the top left flag. Step up, down, left or right onto a flag whose country shares a land border with yours, all the way to the bottom right.
- From every flag on the way exactly one of the flags beside it is a neighbour (not counting the one you came from).
- Names are hidden: a flag is named once you stand on it. Keys: the arrows move over the grid, Enter steps.
- Pause whenever you like (Esc). The board hides while the clock is stopped.

About this quiz
8 mazes take turns, each a 5 by 5 grid of flags with one way through of 10 to 12 steps. Ribbia counts 197 countries: the 193 members of the United Nations plus Vatican City, Palestine, Kosovo and Taiwan.
- From every flag on the way, exactly one of the flags beside it (other than the one you came from) belongs to a bordering country.
- Borders that could be argued, such as one through an overseas territory or a disputed area, are never the way on and never sit beside the path.
- Flags that are easy to mix up, like Chad and Romania, never sit side by side.
- Names stay hidden while you play. A flag is named once you have stood on it, and the whole board is named at the end.
