About this quiz

Every answer is computed from Ribbia's shared lists of 197 countries, their capitals and the 50 US states. Each round asks for 14 of the 28 ends.

  • You get two tries at each list before the answer is shown.
  • Names are sorted as written in English, letter by letter.
  • The bank holds only the answers of the round, so the last few can be worked out by elimination.

The lists are Ribbia's shared country list (United Nations members and observers plus Kosovo and Taiwan, with continents after the M49 regions), its capitals (US Department of State list of independent states) and the 50 states on the Census Bureau's code list with the National Archives' list of capitals, all checked on 3 October 2026. First and last are computed by sorting the English names; a test repeats the sort.
