About this quiz
A thinking game on ten countries of Asia: Bahrain, Indonesia, Iran, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan. The rules come in a fixed order and the board shrinks by one with each, so the countries still standing have kept every rule so far.
- Every rule is kept by all the countries still standing but one, and that one clearly breaks it.
- A figure within five percent of a line is too close to call, and a capital with two accepted spellings that disagree is never asked about; a rule is only used when no country left on the board is in doubt.
- Names are the ones on the buttons. Population is the United Nations estimate for mid 2025 and area the UN figure for 2023. Coastlines, highest points and land borders are those of the 2025 World Factbook.

Note on the data. Every rule is computed from Ribbia's shared country data: names and capitals from the shared list, United Nations mid 2025 population estimates, United Nations surface areas for 2023, and the CIA World Factbook for the rest. Land borders, land boundary lengths, coastlines and highest points are those of the CIA World Factbook in its last (2025) edition, read on 3 October 2026 from the archived copies of the agency's own field pages, parsed by script and checked to be symmetric. A border through a dependency (French Guiana, Gibraltar, Greenland, Ceuta and Melilla) or one that depends on a disputed status (Kosovo, Palestine, Western Sahara, the Golan Heights) is on a doubtful list and is never asked. The board is dealt by a fixed seed from the countries with every figure published and no doubtful border, and the code proves that each rule knocks out exactly one of the countries still standing.
