About this quiz

The solar system has eight planets. The first four from the Sun are small and rocky; the outer four are giants.

  • The order from the Sun is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
  • Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are known as the terrestrial planets because they have solid surfaces.
  • Pluto is one of five recognised dwarf planets, so it is not on the board.
  • Forty clicks finish the game: eight planets, five times.
